Because my forum was used rather seldom, I have stopped it and have replaced it with this FAQ page.

I receive many requests to Swiss manager and Chess-Results.com. Here I will publish questions of general interest.

23 The tournament upload does not work again, after I have deleted it

If the tournament has been deleted from chess-results.com, it can not be upload again using the same database key.

What is to do?

  • Set the database-key to 0. You find the field in Swiss manager in the tournament dialog (menu-item "Input/tournament...") in Sheet "others".
  • Upload the tournament with menu item "Internet/Automatic upload to chess-results.com".
    Note: If the database key is 0, it is reassigned from chess-results.com during the first upload and saved in Swiss-Manager.
